CO2 Fractional Resurfacing

 

The CO2 fractional laser is the laser of choice for acne scar, surgical scar, wrinkle & open pore reduction. It is also FDA approved for the treatment of sunspots & melasma

FAQ

Q: How long does it take?
A: 5 – 10 minutes to cover most of the face.

 

Q: Is it painful
A: We apply a numbing cream 25 minutes prior to the procedure & use an air Chiller during the procedure to minimise discomfort

 

Q: What is the down time?
A: Microscabs will form within minutes that takes 4 days to drop off. It is important to avoid sun exposure for at least a week after. (See fig. 2)

 

Q: How many treatments are necessary?
A: Each treatment will give you a mild to moderate & permanent improvement. An Average of 4 treatments are recommended at least 3 weeks apart, ( see before & after pics below)

 

Q: Any side effects ?
A: Usually none. However, temporary pigmentation may result especially in case of sun exposure (seen in less than 5% of cases). This clears in around 8 weeks.
